Tracking, on location
Your rehearsal room, a church, a venue, a friend's basement. The rig comes to you, the whole band plays together. No space of your own? Tell me the sound you want and I'll find a room that has it.
We bring the studio to you. Track in the room where you already sound good.
Anywhere. Travel billed at cost, quoted before you commit.
The whole band plays at once, no overdub math.
Records, demos, EPs, podcasts, live captures.
Shawn Daley and Ty Jacobs, both behind the desk.
Pick one, or bring a song in raw and leave with it finished.

From my session files or yours. Passes until it sits right on your car stereo and your phone.
Release-ready for streaming, vinyl prep, or a CD run. Loud enough to compete, open enough to breathe.
Arrangement, extra parts, session players, and honest feedback when a song is close but not finished.
Multi-mic tracking at your place or remote, edited and delivered as a finished episode.
Live capture. Multitrack at the venue, plus front of house when you want someone who's worked both sides of the glass.
There's no house room, so the gear is the studio. It loads into a car.
Inputs at once, which is what makes a full band on location work instead of turning into a week of overdubs.
Consoles and front end from Midas, SSL, Neve, and API, depending on what the session calls for.
Microphones from Neumann, Shure, and Sennheiser.
Tape and digital capture, both available, for the highest fidelity a song can carry.
Sessions delivered in whatever format your next stop wants.
No mystery, no surprise invoice.
Send me the songs, even phone demos, and tell me where you want to record. No room? Say so and I'll find one.
I quote the day, the travel, and how many days it honestly takes. A deposit holds the dates.
I load in and set up. You play. Be tuned and rehearsed, and the day goes to music instead of setup.
Mixing happens after, remotely. You get rough mixes the same week and notes are expected, not tolerated.
Masters, stems, and session files. Yours to keep.
You'll know who's on your session before you book it.
Engineer and producer. Recording since 2001, and a player, arranger, and instructor besides. Runs the session and answers the phone.
Engineer and producer, and a recording arts instructor at School of Rock. Works sessions and productions alongside Shawn.
One more thing, since people ask. We don't use generative AI for music, artwork, or anything else that goes out with your name on it. If that's what you're after, another studio will suit you better.
Starting points. Travel is quoted separately and never a surprise.
Tracking, hourly
Day block, up to 12 hours
Mixing and mastering, per project
The day block is what most bands want. Twelve hours at the hourly rate would run $480, so past ten hours the block pays for itself, and nobody's watching the clock during a take. Multi-day projects and full records get a block rate. Students and School of Rock families, ask about the discount.
Tell me what you're making and where. I answer fast.
